Eight had come from or returned from other districts.

Four in Yedapalli are contacts of persons who had already tested positive there.

All the rest are contacts of persons who had already tested positive in their respective areas.

They live in Kotagiri, Gudalur, Katary, Kil Kundah, Thummanatty and Kaikatty.
